Such a wonderful colour,
Rich, dark honey shades,
Black tea in a small spoon,
A glint of light in dark places,
Calm, peacefulness,
Lost in your eyes,
A deep gaze into the windows of your soul,
How I wish to see into them,
Up close, so near to touching,
Peering through your dark orbs,
So warm and kind,
Sweet as the honey,
That gives them colour,
Yet so very wise,
Your lovely dark eyes.

bright orange pieces
The darkness of evening kindles a half-light in me. A sense of calm and sadness and utter change. I will see it later in my dreams as a burnt log breaking into bright orange pieces over dying embers. By morning I will not remember it the same way, but might suddenly recall how it felt to be in love. I would be glad to know what my heart can still do after all this time.

Nice job as always! I enjoy pieces that use eyes in imagery and symbolism, you really hit a home run here in great pieces that I've read on Deviantart so far.
